Can't get WFC working on my DSi

I'm using my DSi XL to connect to WFC, but it's not working. I input the DNS and it shows me error 52100. I'm unsure if i'm doing something wrong, or if it's my R4 (yeah, I was using an R4) or if it just doesn't work.
I'm using an open guest network, if that helps.
